200 years at the table
Two hundred yearstold from the table
Guatemala was turning two hundred, and Ducal invited artists and illustrators from across the country to take over its cans and a few pieces of clothing. The chosen ones illustrated, Ducal launched the commemorative edition, and we got to put it in front of the camera.
Two launches, two films: one for the illustrated can collection and one for the clothing in the edition.
Every illustrated can got its own shot: one piece, one table, a few seconds. Nine cuts, made to loop.
A set built plate by plate: flowers placed by hand, light moved one centimetre at a time, and food that has to look just-served for eight hours straight.

That is why we are wearing masks in every backstage photo. It was shot with protocols, shifts and distance — and still the set was built in full, plate by plate.
Two hundred years of history, and we got to celebrate them with our faces covered. Worth it.
